A Park for protecting and highlighting large, rural inhabited spaces

A regional natural Park is an inhabited rural space, acknowledged at national level for its remarkable heritage interest, also identified for the fragility of its balance. It is an exceptional landscape composed of heritage elements from nature, landscape, humans, building, culture and history that need to be preserved and enhanced.

The Federation of the regional natural Parks of France is its representative. It coordinates the network in order to exchange, establish some methods and common tools to design the future. The network of Parks now counts 52 regional natural Parks.
